Otherwise you can just pay one years’ worth of subscription fees and then use a… “legally challenged” copy and pretend you just bought the one time license So while I understand your point and I don’t want to tell you how to live your life or lead your business, I’m just trying to provide a different perspective as personally I’d rather get my cashflow up and running and be 60 dollars in the red monthly instead of forking over several instances of 600 dollar license fees uncertain of when they’d start to bring returns. You can get by without paying for envatoelements assets or shutterstock images until you have more clients and a steadier stream of income. If you’re just starting out and want to get a legal copy right off the bat, I think it’d be a fair assumption to make that you probably won’t have tons and tons of clients just yet, which makes the ~60 usd monthly investment make more sense due to to cutting your potential losses while still having access to the entire suite. This means that your initial investment is ~40-60 dollars instead of the previous 600/app (so that would mean 600 for AI 600 for PS maybe 600 for InDesign and on top of that you’d need to source your own stockphotos or mockups by licensing or creating them that either costs more money up front or takes time and effort away from other things). What I think many people tend to forget is that the suite is actually making them money (which is probably why Adobe shifted to a subscription model which is more profitable for them than raising license prices through the roof) - so if you can make 60(ish) bucks a month from your work using the software you’re already at your break-even point, any more than that and you’re turning a profit.
